Nation or region can refer to a wide variety of dependencies, areas of special sovereignty, uninhabited islands, and other entities in addition to the traditional countries or independent states.
Literacy Rate is an estimate of the number of people in a nation or region who are able to read. Each nation defines literacy by their own standard and sets the minimum age for literacy.
