Please Read This First

e-mailMr. DowlingI'm thrilled that you've taken the time to write to me and I'm very sorry that I  have to make this difficult. I receive a lot of e-mail and spam—sometimes hundreds of messages a day—so I cannot possibly respond to every message I get. I do my best to respond to serious messages, but often they get lost in all of the junk mail.

I take a lot of pride in mrdowling.com. Please let me know if you notice any bias, factual errors or mistakes of any kind. This website has improved through the years because people have taken the time to share their input and perspectives. I look forward to your constructive criticism.

I change my e-mail address on a regular basis because I have to. This is the best way to ensure that I do not have to wade through spam every time I check my messages.

Also, please note that I do not respond to the following:

1. Requests for an answer key. I do not provide an answer key. Most of the homework involves what we teachers call "higher order" answers. There often is no one right answer. Also, I have no way of knowing if you are a teacher needing assistance or a student trying to save himself or herself from reading and answering the problems on their own. I try to respond to legitimate questions or concerns from teachers, parents, or students.

2. Homework Help. I do not have time to help you with your homework. I wish I had the time.

3. Business Opportunities. I am not interested in trading links with businesses or new websites. BURST Media (www.burstmedia.com), and Google (google.com/adsense) handle all of my advertising. However, if you want to pay me a lot of money, I will be happy to listen.

I look forward to hearing from people who use this website, and I promise that I take your feedback very seriously. The e-mail link is at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for reading my website. I hope you've learned from it. If the material is not correct, I hope you will take the time to show me how I can improve.
