The Mbuti are forest dwellers in Central Africa. Their traditional ways of life are challenged as modern cities and highways encroach on their lands. This Mbuti tells the story of a big animal that he later learns is called a "Toyota."

Mr. Dowmunk has a chant that teaches students the Canadian provinces. BASMOQ stands for British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec. The Maritime Provinces are Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. (Prince Edward Island). Canada also two territories: Yukon and Northwest.
